Inzwa Cloud – Release Notes (May 9, 2026)

Latest Updates Overview

This release expands Inzwa Cloud’s compliance, remote device management, reporting, and visualization capabilities. Major additions include automated integration with New York City DEP sound monitoring requirements, remote Veva III command execution, project-level file management, enhanced device visualization, and expanded threshold configuration options.

NYC DEP Noise Monitoring Compliance Integration

Automated DEP Data Sharing

As of April 21, 2026, the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) requires qualifying construction projects to:

  • Monitor environmental noise levels
  • Provide live sound level data access to the DEP

Inzwa Cloud now includes native support for DEP compliance workflows.

One-Step Project Compliance Configuration

Users can enable DEP integration by configuring a project preference within Inzwa Cloud.

Once enabled:

  • Noise monitoring data is automatically shared with the DEP
  • No external middleware or manual export process is required
  • Live sound level data delivery is handled directly through the platform

Additional Information

Veva III Configuration Changes

Advanced Axis Threshold Configuration

Based on user feedback, independent axis threshold configuration has been restored as an advanced option.

Users can now optionally configure:

  • X-axis threshold
  • Y-axis threshold
  • Z-axis threshold

This allows more granular vibration monitoring for directional sensitivity applications.

Remote Veva III Command Execution

On-Demand Buffered Data Uploads

Users frequently requested the ability to remotely trigger uploads of queued or buffered data without contacting support.

Inzwa Cloud now supports direct remote command execution for Veva III devices.

Available Commands

Users can now instruct a Veva III to:

  • Upload queued event data to Inzwa Cloud
  • Upload buffered files to Inzwa Cloud
  • Perform a soft reset of a Veva III

Access Location

Commands are available from:

  • Manage Devices

Alarm Notification Defaults

Default Notification Behavior

If no distribution group is assigned to a project:

  • Alarm notifications are automatically sent to the project creator (administrator)

Distribution Group Override

When one or more distribution groups are assigned:

  • Notifications are routed exclusively to those groups
  • Administrators only receive notifications if explicitly included

Purpose

This behavior prevents alarm conditions from going unnoticed due to incomplete notification configuration.

Project File Management

Centralized Project Document Storage

Projects can now maintain associated files directly within Inzwa Cloud.

Supported use cases include:

  • Permits
  • Compliance documentation
  • Site plans
  • Reports
  • Reference images
  • Customer deliverables

Access Location

Files are managed from:

  • Manage Projects -> Edit Project

Device Image Support

Device Image Association

Users can now associate an image with any device.

Visualization Integration

Device images appear within:

  • Device pop-ups on project maps
  • Device detail views

This simplifies field identification and deployment verification.

Configuration Location

Images can be uploaded from:

  • Configure Device

Notes

  • No breaking API changes in this release
  • Existing threshold configurations are automatically migrated
  • Advanced axis thresholds are disabled by default and available as an optional configuration mode
  • NYC DEP integration is available for supported sound monitoring deployments.

Inzwa Cloud – Release Notes (March 7, 2026)

Latest Updates Overview

This release introduces enhanced Veva data capabilities, streamlined configuration, improved notification defaults, and several usability improvements across the platform.

Veva Data Enhancements

  • Veva (E01) now provides peak particle acceleration (PPA) and peak particle displacement (PPD) alongside velocity data.
  • New dashboard tabs for real-time acceleration and displacement visualization.
  • Support for acceleration-based alarm thresholds.
  • PPA and PPD included in report aggregation tables and charts.
  • Additional vibration modes (e.g., Vibration Dose Value) available—contact sales for details.

Veva Configuration Improvements

  • Simplified alarm configuration with a single threshold value applied across all axes.
  • Per-axis threshold configuration to be reintroduced in an upcoming release as an advanced option.

Alarm Notification Defaults

  • Projects without a distribution group will default to notifying the project administrator.
  • When distribution groups are assigned, notifications follow group membership.

Battery Depletion Projection

  • Veva dashboard now displays an estimated battery replacement date based on current usage.

AMTS Monitored Point Management

  • Ability to disable unused monitored points, removing them from visualizations and reports without affecting historical data.

Additional Improvements

  • Added low-level alarm thresholds for Geokon VW & Tilt devices.
  • Last Veva start time now displayed in the Manage Devices table.
  • Calibration dates visible for Veva devices.
  • Device project history includes user-assigned labels.
